cupy.is_available()

Return True if GPU execution is available.

This function can be used to guard code for cases where CuPy is installed but not usable, typically because the system has no GPU. It checks whether the driver can be queried for devices and that there is at least one device available.

Returns:

True if GPU execution is possible.
